Strategically managing your organization’s projects is a proven management tactic to respond to the fast-paced, changing business environment. My process begins at the executive level and flows down into every level of the organization. Implementation of a strategic management process is tightly coupled with project management to convert strategic opportunity to project results. Effective management of the portfolio of projects is sustained through continuous executive-level Portfolio Reviews. New opportunities are initiated based on a rigorous decision-making framework for project selection and prioritization. Within such a framework, the value of any one project can be compared with a standard. My objective is to help you select projects that maximize your returns.
Program Management
Most IT organizations are striving to improve project delivery by using more rigorous risk and quality management techniques. In a step to achieve that goal, I offer periodic Project Quality and Risk Assessments for critical IT projects. My SQA-based assessment provides management with the appropriate visibility into both the quality of the process used by the project team and the quality of the products built. Upon completion, recommended corrective actions are presented to the project team and to senior management for action.
